The night becons and taunts the meek to a place,
Where the unholy are bening & the holy are warmongers

Fear would I? Why would I?
Bonespurs and fleshgrafts bring me back to this place

Of sinue and entrails is the land
Of Ichor and spines are the sky and stars

Of totentanz and songs of twilight
Dance. Dance and hear the rattle of old bones and pearlest whites

i hear shrilled tones and in an instant of daybreak it is all gone.
but i remain shamed and shunned
because this is life not paradise

a poem purely inspired by shocktember's great art. as soon as i saw "Living a Life of Depression" I got this immage of a totentanz (look it up on wiki if you dont know what it is :P)
